BROWN
LIGHT TRANSMITTANCE: 18%Brown tint lenses turn up your world’s light while also capping the peak brightness. These lenses help preserve contrast and depth perception better than a simple smoke tint and can enhance your vision in cloudy or shadowy conditions by reducing the contrast between bright spots and dark. These are the most durable and shock resistant sun glasses I have ever owned. I have great confidence they will repel many errant materials or objects away from my eyes and eye sockets, whether that be a stone kicked up from the lawn mower or a spent shell casing. I've been wearing the Sleeper Cell gray matte frame with blue shield, smoke tint lenses golfing for the past month in the southwest desert. First, they look cool and the blue lenses make for very pleasant outdoor viewing. They are lightweight and the soft touch finish helps them stay in place on my nose even when sweating. The wrap around design blocks the dusty wind pretty effectively and it doesn't interfere at all with any of my caps or hats. Lenses seem totally distortion free and block the afternoon glare coming off of the water hazards throughout our course. Hopefully I won't find out first-hand, but the impact protection aspect of these glasses is the initial reason I was looking at them since I've had more than a few close calls with errant balls coming in my direction. Overall, these are just what I wanted.
